I know a lot of people have built this clock, but it was the only thing I could think of for my dads birthday. My dads in a new office, so I knew it would be great in there. Its made out of 1’ thick walnut and maple. The frame is walnut, and the clock piece is maple. The dowels are oak, so there very strong. The clock you can buy at craft stores. The prices range from $8.99-$18.99, I bought the cheapest one, at $9.99.
Here’s a photo of the clock,

He’s going to love this for two reasons. First it’s functional, well built and beautiful. Second…. you made it. I’m a Dad, trusts me, he’s going to cherish this.

That is a nice looking clock. A nice clock always makes a desk look better – and you built it, so it will make him think of you everytime he sees it. Why did you put this in blogs instead of projects?

I made a clock a long time ago. I got my parts at a place named Klockit. They have a web site now There was no internet back than so I used magazines to find suppliers.
Keep up the good work AJ, And thanks for looking at my “Pine finish” Blog!
