In a manner of speaking, I have a pile of wood, PVC, and metal along with various other constituents that is waiting to become a drum sander…

Seriously though, search for drum sander here, you will be amazed how many folks here simply build their own… I am in progress however my progress got halted by marital priorities. (My wife had other ideas for priority projects…)

If I had the bucks to buy one, I would wait for one of the discount coupons from Woodcraft and pick up a Jet 16/32…

AJ- I have a 10-20 Jet that I bought new and am not very proud of (feed belt won’t stay tracked and is REALLY annoying). My other one is an older 18-36 Craftsman that is a great, troublefree workhorse that cost half what the Jet did. I don’t know how I ever got along without my drum sanders.

AJ, I have a Performax (now Jet) 1632 and I love it. The feed belt tracks nicely. I found mine used on Craig’s list.

Just picked up a delta 18-36 and don’t know how I got by without it.

Keep your eye out on classfieds and you may be able to pick up a sweet deal.
