Hi all! Yup, I’m still around and working with wood! A local bar which my daughter just happens to bar tend at asked if I could build them a 2 Skewer Boards for hors d’oeuvres. They sent a picture of an example of what they’re looking for an as you can see from my work, I can’t do simple and basic. I have their company logo and will be doing an intarsia version of that as their board. Watch for updates!

This is what I was given as a template to work from. It’s a small tattoo they give at the bar.

I drew out the image and started cutting. This will all be done on the scroll saw! Walnut and Aspen.

I tried to plan the inserts so there was uniformity.

25 Skewer holes later, natural finish and polished with a paste wax.
