I live just outside of the city limits of Portland, Oregon, with my wife, dog and cat. I have been woodworking off and on since high school, I took woodshop 3 years in high school and I really liked it, but I didn't really do anything through college. Then about 2 or 3 years after college I decided to build a Seattle Seahawks Beer Pong Table as a wedding present for a good friend, and since then it has re-sparked my love of working the wood. I've spent a ton of time in my shop and remodeling my house, but am still definitely a novice and everyday I learn new woodworking skills and techniques, mostly thank you to Lumberjocks. Maybe one day my skills will get to a point where I could make a living building things out of wood!
