This Sunday I met up with the one and only ND2ELK (aka Tom).
Tom was in my area to visit some family and was nice enough to contact me.
I really enjoyed learning about Tom’s successful woodworking career.
We were able to get in some good shop talk.
I must say we are lucky to have Tom as a member of our woodworking community here on Lumberjocks.
I appreciate the correspondence with everyone online but actually meeting another member is special.
Thanks Tom for spending some of your valuable family time to look me up, I hope to do it again.

Sounds like fun. Always good to share some time with a fellow Jock and swap some shop talk. Maybe sometime I’ll make the trip down and come see your shop.

Tom seems like a great guy.

I KNOW he’s got a great shop :-)

Glad you two got to hook up and … undoubtedly … spit sawdust, together !

Neil, I like your unusual comments(or shop slang), yes we “spit sawdust” during our short meeting. LOL

Hi Aaron

Thank you so much for your kind words. I too enjoyed meeting a fellow lumberjock in person. You have a God given talent in woodworking and I wish you a life long career in this great field. I also want to thank you for the gift you gave me. I am not going to tell what it is going to be used for till I post it in my projects. I will say it is a special gift, from a special buddy of mine for a special lady, I loved dearly.

God Bless

Great write up, and very nice to see folks getting together. Sharing our passion is so much better in person…but having this forum is an excellent alternative. I agree with Scrappy….keep it up…and keep sharing with the rest of us.
