I am happy to say, I'm currently employed as a car stereo installer. I've been involved in building high end audio systems for cars, trucks, boats, and even motor cycles. I worked for five different shops in the last twelve years. I have been into woodworking and building things since high school, where I learned how cool woodworking can be. Ever since I bought my first table saw in the 11th grade, I have been slowly adding to my arsenal of power tools. Only recently have I been more interested in hand tools.
In 2001 I purchased a small house with a detached shop that I have recently been making improvements on. Slowly it's transforming in to my ultimate work space. I am self taught at most things. I hope to constantly improve my design capabilities and skills, to become a true craftsman. I enjoy challenging myself to accomplish new and exciting techniques.
I must attribute most of my woodworking knowledge to hours of studying all aspects of woodworking. I have learned I have a strong interest in shop furniture. For example, I must have 500 bookmarks just on workbenches. I am drawn to images of organized workshops, complicated jigs, and elaborate work stations. Spending an average of 2 to 3 hours a day studying woodworking on the internet. I find my computer to be one of the best tools I own.
