Duh moment - 3 replies
Maybe to late ask this but…..Can I apply lacquer over a BLO and beeswax finish. Reason I ask is that I built a letter tray holder from walnut with maple inlay. Once done I sealed it with a home brewed mixture of BLO and Beeswax hoping that this would be enough. Any thoughts would be helpful.

What do these go to? - 9 replies
I found these blades in the shop about a year ago and never got around to posting any thing on them. They were buried in a heap of dust and dirt. I’m guessing they go to a hand planer, if so what kind. Any thoughts would be helpful. .

Overly obsessed with scrap or what? - 13 replies
I hold onto the smallest of scrap thinking that someday I’ll have some great use for it. Today I did some major cleaning of the shop and went through my scrap box bin. I’m in the finishing process of my router table build…now here’s the question. I have a scrap piece of 1/4” plastic sheet that I thought about using as my smooth top.
