Rare Woods find in Maine
While on vacation in Maine just up the road from my in-laws I noticed a sign at the bottom of the hillWhat? Rare Woods? Where?The only thing up there is the old dowel mill so I was told. Up the drive to several large buildings. I was greeted by a friendly retriver. He lead me to Rory, owner of Rare Woods USA. I told Rory I was on vacation saw his sign and had to stop in. Rory graciously truned on the lights and gave me the grand tour. While telling me of his operations move from South Africa to Rumford ME I was blown away by the thousands of board feet of lumber.
