I have just started woodworking. My whole family is creative in many different ways and a lot of them have worked with wood. My grandpa and I were always the closest of all of his grandkids. He had a stroke recently and I have inherited his wood shop. I have made a bunch of projects since then. I am learning as I go and would love any advice on how to do things better or easier.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The best advice I can give you is to try to have fun in the shop, do the best
work you can and be careful. One of the best master cabinetmakers/woodworkers I know told me that
he has hardly worked a day in his life because he is having too much fun to call what he is doing work. The
fact that you are sharing some of fun of woodworking with your husband will help a lot also.
