Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.
God Bless

Ya you do sound picky. Sorry I don’t know all the feature of the site. You could have just commented. They removed my forum because it wasn’t a review, when I just needed some help. Some people can be so anal! I spent a long time setting that up (not real great with computers). If you don’t want to help don’t be a hinderance.

What did you do to your hand there, Pat? I have a childhood injury that almost exactly matches it. I fell off a bike and cut through the base of my index finger, same hand as you, but right along the crease at the base of the finger, where it meets the hand. A piece of glass cut through both tendons and a nerve there. The doctor later had to make another cut from the outside of the finger down along the crease line in the palm so he could open it like a flap and go in for the tendons to pull them back together and sew them up. That line is almost identical to yours. It’s weird to see almost the same V shape on the same hand, in almost exactly the same lengths, angles, and with the same placement on a different hand. I never got full use of it back, thanks to scar tissue. It bends pretty far, though, so I can still play instruments, wood work, hold material while working on it. I never notice the slight loss of movement. Anyway, hope you’re all healed up now!

Heya brother, thanks for stopping by and welcoming me to the site. I just retired after 20+ years as an HMC. I took a gander at your projects and I must say that I am totally jealous of the finish you got on that toybox. I dream of finishes like that. BZ!
