As we demonstrate the Design/Inlay Kit across the country we gain countless hours of experience and hear great ideas from others who have this product as well. With this blog series, I will try to share as many hints and ideas as I can.

One thing we get asked for a lot are additional templates with different design or inlay windows.

While there aren’t any templates available from Milescraft, they have posted some directions on how to create your own templates out of plywood or plastic and a scroll/jig/coping saw. The directions are simple and many of us would have figured it out soon enough, but a lot of us might find this very helpful.

You can find their instructions here(pdf): http://milescraft.com/service/makedesigntemplates.pdf
