Tomorrow is the day. Counting down the hours. One way or another I will be moved back into the garage. I will try posting pics and might be asking for some advice on placing tools. Got a quick question now, where can I find some cheap but good floor matting?

I bought some rubber floor mats from Sears. I think it was $16 for 8 18” squares. I put 4 around my bench and 2 at the table saw. The other 2 I move around for cushion wherever I happen to be working at the moment.

not sure of the price , but about the same as sears i think .

You can also look for horse stall rubber pads if you have a “farm and feed store” nearby. They’re usually “a couple feet by a few more feet” in size and anywhere from half to one inch thick. Prices will vary.

I like these because they stand up better to the abuse of a shop. I have found that these are overall cheaper than the interlocking type, at least ways, here in Kansas.

Costco has some interlocking for a great price. A more durable variety (not interlocking) can be had at Tractor Supply for a bit more, but they’re durable! I wish I had bought them rather than the Costco variety.
